DNCE is an American pop-rock band formed in 2015. The band consists of Joe Jonas, former member of the Jonas Brothers, Jack Lawless, who played drums for the Jonas Brothers on their tours, Cole Whittle, former member from the punk rock band Semi Precious Weapons, and JinJoo Lee, a brilliant South Korean guitarist. Joe Jonas, born August 15, 1989 in Casa Grande, Arizona, was a member of the Jonas Brothers, a family band formed with his brothers Kevin and Nick. Coming from a family of Italian, Irish, German, English and French-Canadian descent, Joe achieved immense success at a young age, with the Jonas Brothers producing several hit albums and performing around the world. 

Jack Lawless, born September 20, 1987, in Neptune City, New Jersey, was also a member of the Jonas Brothers as a touring drummer, playing on several of their albums. Cole Whittle, born on February 22, 1982 in Manhattan, New York, began his musical career as a member of the punk rock band Semi Precious Weapons. As a guitarist, JinJoo Lee, born November 15, 1987 in Incheon, South Korea, has worked with many artists, including touring with Charlie Puth and CeeLo Green before joining DNCE. Since its formation, DNCE has released several hit singles, including “Cake By The Ocean” and “Kissing Strangers”. The group has been nominated for numerous awards and won Best New Artist at the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.
